Commons Inquiry into Dentistry - Day Four |

Dr Anthony Halperin, Chairman of the Patients Association and Teresa Perchard, Policy Director of the Citizens Advice Bureaux were the first witnesses before the House of Commons Health Select Committee on 6 March on the Committee's third day of taking oral evidence in the current Inquiry into Dental Services.

Thanks to all the practices which entered the first Dental Practice WOW! Awards, in association with Paradigm Design and special congratulations to the winners: D A & C Houston, Weston-super-Mare (overall and small town category); Hospital Lane Dental Practice, Blue Bell Hill, Kent (referral practice category); and Lady Bay Dental Care, Nottingham (large town category). Next year's awards will be launched in August, and the 2008/09 awards will now feature four categories: Major City; Small City/Large Town; Small Town; and Referral. So if you have renovated, refurbished, extended or moved in the last five years, your practice will be eligible to enter the Dental Practice WOW! Awards.
